Getting started

Who qualifies for this online shopping?
All clients that have an existing credit account with Checkers Food Services qualify for online shopping.
How do I register for this online shopping?
All CFS customers who have an existing credit account with Checkers Food Services qualify for online shopping and can use the shop.checkersfs.co.za facility.
Who do I contact for assistance?
If you need further assistance, contact our consultant on 021 507 3440 during the following hours: Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00.
What if I have forgotten my password?
Call 021 507 3440 and a friendly consultant will reset and email a new password to you.
Where can I find the terms and conditions?
Before you can place an order, you will have to indicate that you have read and agree with the terms and conditions. They are available when you click on 'View Cart', but they can also be viewed at the following link

Placing an order

How do I log in?
There is a 'Shop Online' button on the top right hand side of the home page. Click on the button and it will take you to the online shopping page where you can enter the username and password given to you during the registration process.
How do I find products?
Product searches need to be done by category. To search for a product, use the category menu on the left hand side by clicking on the category in which your product belongs and then simply type the name or a word that describes your product in the search bar at the top of the screen. Use one search word at a time.
How do I add products to my cart?
When you've found the product you're looking for, select the quantity you want to add by typing it in the box or clicking on the + and - buttons next to it. Click on the 'Add to Cart' button and it will be placed in your cart. Add one item at a time. You will get a notification every time you add a product. Click on 'View Cart' to see all the items in your cart or keep shopping.
How do I change quantities?
Select 'View Cart' at the top of the page. Here you can review each item and change the quantity by typing a new number in the box. You can also remove items from the order by clicking on the red cross.
Will I miss out on promotional prices if I shop online?
Thanks to our automated pricing system you will always pay the promotional price when shopping online. If for some reason the product is not listed under the most recent promotional price on the website, you have no need to worry, because it will appear at the promotional price in your cart.
What happens when products are out of stock?
When you place your order, you will only be invoiced on the products that we have in stock. In the unlikely event of a stock problem, one of our sales consultants will contact you with more information regarding the out of stock item.

Making a payment

How do I check out?
Simply click on 'View Cart' at the top of the page, review the items in your cart, select the block that certifies that you have read and accept the terms and conditions and click on the green 'Check out Now' button. Note that this is located at the bottom right hand corner of the page.
When do I pay for my goods?
You will be billed to your credit account when you click on the 'Check Out Now' button to place your order online. Your credit agreement will dictate how many days you have to make the payment and this will be communicated on your monthly statement.
When will my order be possessed and delivered?
Your order is processed automatically the minute you click on the 'Check Out Now' button. All confirmed orders will be supplied within your next delivery slot, which will never be more than 72 hours from ordering. Visit the website to view the delivery schedule.

Receiving the delivery

What if my order is damaged, unwanted or even missing?
If there are any missing, unwanted or damaged items in your delivery, please verify with the delivery driver and fill in a Goods Returned Note (GRN). For unwanted or damaged items, please give these back to the driver, who will return them to us so we can refund you. If you accept any incorrect items we will not be able to refund them at a later stage. Please see our Terms and Conditions.
What if my delivery is late?
We try to ensure that every delivery is made on time, but delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances. We endeavour to communicate any delays to you as soon as possible. To find out about our delivery times, visit our website or phone 021 507 3440 and a friendly consultant will assist you.
